Description: BRJE is proud to sponsor Story Starters’ Family Conversations Program in Brookline! This 8-week guided program gives parents and caregivers of children ages 3–8 the tools and confidence to talk with their kids about race, differences, and bias. It includes curated books, conversation prompts, family and parent events, and weekly check-ins.

Families receive:

• A bundle of 6 books
• 5 parent guides full of research, resources, family activities, and booklists to help parents get started
• 2 family events and 2 parent workshops
• A network of current families and alumni to lean on and learn from

Description: Join BRJE and Brookline for the Culture for a free, family-friendly afternoon celebrating the culture, history, creativity, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities! Enjoy a screening of Encanto, food and refreshments, and activities for kids and families. All are welcome; registration is required.

Description: Don’t miss a free screening of the award-winning film Birth Wars, followed by a conversation with director Janet Jarman and reproductive health experts. The film tells a human rights story about how power imbalances and racism in health care systems affect women during childbirth. Space is limited!
